The start of a journey with Leolytix

Introducing Leolytix for the first time. How we started.

Well, we’re officially here—the launch of Leolytix. In August 2024, I announced that I was moving on from my role with the Canadian Football League and venturing into entrepreneurship, with not much else revealed beyond that (unless you were one of the curious folks wondering what I was up to).

So, you may be wondering: Who/what is Leolytix? And what have we been up to over the last 6 months? This next piece will answer all of that and more.

Let me first introduce my counterpart: Divya Bajaj. We worked together at the CFL for 3 years, and as we contemplated our next moves, it made more sense to continue our journey together than to go separate ways. As Co-Founders, we are excited to officially introduce Leolytix.

Leolytix was born from our shared passion for technology, data, and marketing technology. We’re a consulting team providing services across data architecture/engineering and marketing technology. The intersection of data and marketing has always intrigued us, and we saw a need for strategic advisory and hands-on development to ensure organizations get the full value from their technology investments. Many companies have built up capabilities across their technology landscape, but still struggle to integrate marketing and sales to realize their full business potential. We aim to go beyond dashboards and create direct impact for your customers, delivering personalization and marketing automation opportunities that drive your business forward—all led by data.

And what have we been up to in the last 7 months? Well, we've been busy—behind the scenes with the usual tasks of incorporation, legal, accounting, and more. But in preparation to serve you, we’ve focused on building out our initial team and internal IP to quickly provide value, while also working on some client projects behind the scenes.

Why the move? This is something I’ve always wanted to do, but sometimes you’re not 100% sure when you’re going to make it happen. One evening, during a run around Toronto Harbour, with a clear mind, I decided it was time to take the leap. This was something Divya also planned for and was passionate about, and once we finally had a discussion, it was clear that the intent and interest were mutual.

Leolytix will combine expertise in data with expertise in marketing technology to truly provide the end-to-end solutions you’ve been waiting for. So, over the coming months, keep an eye out for new content across data engineering, martech, and more.
